Remittances tick up slightly despite Trump & a downward trend

Remittances from the US to Mexico ticked up slightly by 1.3% in the first quarter of 2025, despite uncertainties and tariffs introduced by the Trump administration. Mexico received US$14b in January - March of this year. Despite this, the overall trend in remittances is downward, and the average individual remittance decreased by 0.4 percent.
