Morena activists promoted judicial election, candidates on Navy ship before NY crash

Morena Party partisans used the Mexican Navy training ship which crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop to promote the judicial elections in Mexico, and specifically to boost the candidacy of Morena-affiliated Supreme Court judge Lenia Batres. Mexican nationals living in the US are not eligible to vote in the judicial elections, and questions have been raised around the legality of the activists’ actions. Read more at Proceso.
